Introduction
Too often parents struggle to find the right support in the local area to help them in their breastfeeding journey.
This UK Breastfeeding Support Directory brings together the various support available to you – whether it’s in a group or 1 to 1, free or paid at point of access, face-to-face or online. Check the profile entry to learn more about what is offered.
Support might be offered by health visitors, breastfeeding counsellors, lactation consultants or breastfeeding peer supporters.
We understand the importance of knowing that your breastfeeding supporter is trained and experienced – which is why we have an approvals policy in place that must be met by each professional in order to list their service. We ask practitioners to reconfirm their details every 12 months.
While this is our policy for accepting individual and group listings, directory listings are self-reported by practitioners. It remains your responsibility to confirm that these details are accurate before you attend a session or reach out to a practitioner.
The UK Breastfeeding Support Directory is not responsible for the content of external links and websites.
